See, we do everything for a reason – really everything: eating until the tummy hurts, reacting to what people say, feeling a certain way, having that other drink, doing things for others, pretending to be okay, hearing that critical inner voice, being angry/sad or excited…
We’ll get to know what is going on and really understand it.
You’ll develop a relationship with all that’s going on internally – the sensations, the thoughts, the feelings and emotions. Because when we understand something, there’s a choice, an awareness. That’s where the magic happens. The relationship to ourselves changes and when we change, our communication changes and other things around us change too.

I’m a person with quite serious trust issues when it comes to allowing anyone to help me with my challenges in life, so I struggle with finding therapists that actually can help me go deeper in my inner healing. Working with Andi has been such a gift since she has this innate empathic presence and sweet hearted nature which disarms and calms my distrusting parts. With her guidance I’ve been able to get in touch with and befriend aspects of my psyche which normally are heavily suppressed and guarded. I warmly recommend her sessions to anyone that is serious about coming to terms with themselves and their inner world.
After the second appointment I had had confidence. Since then I have felt safe and know that nothing can happen to me, I can allow anything. Every thought, every fear is looked at very gently, may come, may show itself, everything may be. So much that is suppressed receives attention, is questioned, valued and liberated. This has never been possible before, it's unbelievable! It becomes more and more clear to me that I am dragging my past around like lead.
I am always surprised when I get the suggestion from Andi to thank the thoughts and feelings that are felt as burdens and to appreciate them as a part of me that means well to me, that wants to protect me. That’s immensly relaxing and liberating.
Even the thought of the next session makes me happy and confident. My subconscious seems to be eager to put down a lot of backpacks, to open them and to free them from their burden in order to finally find myself. I feel that I heal very gently from the inside out and alone the thought of how it feels, vibrates inside of me.
My IFS session with Andi was fantastic. I had minimal knowledge about IFS going into it. She was able to explain the process to me in a very clear way. I felt extremely relaxed Andi provided a safe and comfortable environment for me to explore my relationship with different parts of myself. She has a very calm and soothing voice that makes the experience very enjoyable. She knew exactly what to say to keep me on track since many parts were coming up. She didn’t dismiss anything. We explored everything that was present which helped me understand and accept myself on a deeper level. The time just flies by! It’s amazing! IFS is a very gentle version of therapy but you make a lot of progress. I’d highly recommend Andi if you are interested in exploring IFS.
I had been feeling very tense, contracted, and overwhelmed all week and after one amazing session with Andrea, she was able to help me get in touch with the vulnerable part that was underneath the overwhelm. I was able to hold and heal its pain and felt transformed, vitally flowed back into my body again leaving me energized yet relaxed. Since then I have noticed that I have been better able to deal with stressful situations when they come up.
Andrea is a compassionate, playful, and sensitive IFS practitioner who is passionate about her work. I am very grateful to be able to work with her!
IFS with Andi was not like any of the other forms of therapy I have done. At times it was frustrating because it felt like I was leading the process and everything went through me.
In previous forms of therapy, I loved the explanation and understand i would receive as to why I was feeling a particular way, based upon the story I had just told my therapist.
In IFS, we would approach it based upon how I was feeling in the moment. As someone who has been suppressing my emotions all my life, I did not know how to interact with them without being overwhelmed. With Andi’s guidance, I feel I now have the tools to acknowledge and deal with my emotions as they come up. To release those that were ready to be released and to acknowledge those emotions not quite ready to move on...
